There's a lot of politics in medicine. Step out of line and your job can be in jeapordy. One would like to think that doctors would be above that sort of snarky crap, but many are not. If your boss is 100% pro vax, and you're slightly less enthusiastic, you're going to keep quiet. There's big pharma to think about too. If you say the wrong thing, maybe next year you don't get an invite to the conference in Hawaii.
