Investors - because they see value, and expect that means by definition that it is undervalued. And that when fair value is paid by the market, we will sell into a profit.

What we don't want to see is anything that undermines the share price, or we will see a loss. (Such as dilution)

We are not in this surely for ever and every day, just to perpetuate the business but not grow the SP and MC.

We do not pay our directors to manage for the sake of it.
To be where we are, in 5 years time, having simply maintained the status quo. (Explored with our entire wallets to maintain our net cash flows, but not returned growth of reserves for the purpose of sale and returns to sharehodlers)

Is it not better for shareholders, to take until the death of an oil field, all that it is worth and pocket it?

Than to simply perpetuate the business of being in the game.

Perpetuating for its own sake is useless.

Exploring only if that delivers results that are tangible, such as the sale of reserves and in part returned to shareholders makes sense.

If we are successful in getting West L redevelopment on line, then the second cash cow why not consider all of it as div? And why not tell the market that now, so that by 2015, we have plenty of insto support buying.

If we are only here for the sake of keeping an oiler going, then that is great news for all the company employees, but not good for any investor.

But if the company recognizes its obligation to return value for shareholders - that means SP growth. (not dilution)

What will we do with the second cash cow in 2015? pay our employees a big bonus? How does that make investors pay more for the sp? Whats in it for us to hold our stock for that time?

    What is our business model?

To return sp growth to shareholders? / return divs.

    Or

To just perpetuate our business to pay the employees.

How about all employees be required to take part of their remuneration as shares. Then they will be motivated.
