@Scott th Ratbag; what Australia has done to asylum seekers makes a mockery of and exposes the sheer hypocrisy of those claiming that people alleged to have offended are innocent until proven guilty by a jury and the failure of subsequent appeals to a Supreme Court and to the High Court.
Those intercepted trying to enter Australia as asylum seekers should be processed in a timely manner onshore ... not left to rot indefinitely in offshore concentration camps from which even the UNHCR is denied access.
