Yeah, haven’t heard where it’s off to after the Otway for Vintage. Initially it was expecting drilling Oct/Nov. I expect that’ll be pushed out to Q1 2020 now though.

Not a lot of rigs around with capacity for drilling at the depths required in NPB. Ensign 963/965, EWG106, and I think there is a decent rig laid up South of Perth - but needs work.
Plenty of rigs getting work in Cooper with Santos and Beach, which makes it more competitive. Mind you they don’t need to be the big beasts that are required for deep drilling.
Beach is using Ensign 931 in the Otway currently. That’s doing extended reach drills (onshore pad to offshore res). I believe that is 1 million pound hook load and would do the job. Just not sure how much it has lined up.
