Keeping unemployment low,balancing budgets,maintaining border protection are all worthy of the governments attention,but are also the domain of the public service.
I would like to see our generation leaving a legacy for the future.We look back with admiration at things like the Snowy Mountain Scheme,the Kalgoorlie Pipeline,Warragamba Dam, Sydney Harbour Bridge and wonder at the people who made it possible...and then in the same breath say its not possible in this day and age..incredible and a blight on our generation.
We have to start using out natural wealth to build the infrastructure for the next generation,to open up the country.It will create employment for our generation and the opportunity for future government revenue via efficient access to basic services........it may even earn the admiration of the Australians of the future.
