Where is he (John Bradley) now, you ask Dex. See him here (http://www.premiers.qld.gov.au/about-us/our-key-people/dg.aspx) madly spinning it defend DERM on tonight's Four Corners about the unfolding environmental disaster surrounding the current dredging of Gladstone Harbour. The fishing industry there has been completely wiped out as of about the last two months.
Bradley weakly attempts to defend a DERM report on harbour water quality that found that everything was just fine but a water quality scientist from James Cook University disagrees. He takes the view that the sick fish tell the real story. He also shows up that DERM failed to do follow up tests for heavy metal contamination. Asked to explain, Bradley simply waves it all away by putting it down to "most likely being due to naturally occurring variations in the water supply". Well, he would say that, wouldn't he? But give him credit. At least he didn't try to blame it all on Cougar.
An interesting preview perhaps of things to come if, as Dex foreshadows, we see him again on the stand in court some time next year.
