I think the reality is, small mining company executives hate life.
Because they know they are stuck in a business that doesn't come close to being the way it should be. Except for the lucky few who can exert the powers of deities.
Life should be like it is in financial institutions where executives just as greedy as they are, people who are pillars of the local Opera going set (New York, London, Sydney (lol) make a cool $100 plus a year.
People like one of the men in today's James Hardy story who has tallent, no doubt, and who has a fine speaking voice. And how does it get used? As the appologist for BANK failures....but that was a long time ago
And they (in mining) have to work so hard! Its not fair!
I wonder how much the big men of W.A. mining would prefer to live in a bigger city than Perth? Somewhere where they can project their important social status more?
