    @PurpleDragon
    It appears at this point in time, the Malian Transitional Government isn't opposed to using large Chinese Corporations.

    The defence of Mali has seen the approval of the Satellite Plan allowing Mali to launch its own satellite, although details are unclear who will build it.

    In an ordinary session of the Council of Ministers held on the 3rd January, 2024:
    The Ministers commitment to improving infrastructure and technology advancements be decree,
    ~ approved the Amendment (No1) to the market extension of fibre optic in strategic areas, the amendments were changes in areas and re-routing the cabling.
    ++ An agreement was reached with the China International Telecommunication Construction Corporation, for a period of 24 months in the amount of US$118 million.

    On an unrelated topic;
    Time taken for the discussions/negotiations the Company is in with the Mali Government and/or the Commission could be hindered/delayed with a delegation of Ministers sent to the Conference of State Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption that was held in Atlanta mid December.
    ~ this may be taking priority over LLL negotiations given that "Corruption" was a key item in both the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund recommendations.

    cheers
