There is not enough pain in the energy market to bother spending time and money, building owners, in general, don’t care about the energy cost or fancy TV monitors.
Apple has being doing IoT for years with all apple products. It is the onset of wireless devices that has changed things and see the acceleration of adoption as the cost of entry has dropped.
Anyway I think people need to realise this is not a new industry, connected devices have been around since 90s, cloud has been around since the 90s all under different names. Anyway DYOR
