They put that statement about forward looking statements in every “official announcement” too (just check the last PAR ASX announcement for example).
However, that doesn’t give SW or PR a get out of jail free card to make materially false or misleading statements when talking to investors. If PR or SW “ought reasonably to have known” that a statement they were making was materially false or misleading at the time they made it (or they did not care whether the statement they were making was true or false) then they have violated section 1041E of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
