I agree with you, Duke. However, I don't think we agree on the same grounds. What we can both appreciate is that we both do not know what is happening at that negotiating table. We cannot attribute blame to any party right now. That is where I differ with you in terms of knowing who is to blame.
I do not know why you seem to be insinuating that the drug is perhaps not good enough. That doesn't really support the rest of your argument about management being the reason why there does not appear to be a deal ready to be announced. In fact, you seem to be speaking about two different things, viz. institutional investors and funding partners. We do have institutional investors; we are still looking for institutional funders - as far as I am aware in relation to Phase III trials. I think it all boils down to how we view the situation and what information we call upon when constructing our personal view of the situation.
Personally, I think that, whatever the case might be, there'll come a time for all cards to be laid out for all of us to see. That moment will be equal parts sweet and sour.
