Thanks for that clarification pnh88. We should see something concrete by the end of 2018 then.
Just a few points based on previous posts.
- Share price pnh88 made mention that MXC believes the true SP should be around the 20 cent mark. I saw a brokers estimate (just can’t recall where) of about 20 cents as well about a month ago. The SP is NOT a reflection of any flawed fundamentals in the company. Nor is it a reflection of shareholder sentiments – look at the posts on HC. Not many posters who think current SP is fair or logical. I have the conspiracy theory of course that someone (maybe plural) is keeping the price down waiting for a CR so they can get shares at the current discount price – they would have to be already a large shareholders to do this. I am not an expert with the share market but did observe something this morning which makes me think that there could be merit in my conspiracy theory. I put an order in for 100,000 shares at 6.2 cents. Almost immediately, a sell order went in for almost 240,000 shares at 6.1 cents – covering my buy order and the shares being sought at 6.1 cents. In other words the SP would have remained at 6.1 cents after the two transactions. Good for me as I got the shares at 6.1 cents but I think you can see that the sell order was strange – why not try and get 6.2 cents if someone wants to pay that? Basically, we should forget about the SP for now – it will be much higher at the end of the year.
- Dilution I think there are around 1200mil shares that have been allocated. If there were only 120mil shares then we would all have paid 10 times the amount we did pay to obtain MXC shares. So, mathematically, it makes no difference. When the share price hits $2-3, we will all have 10 times more shares than we would have had. We should not even worry about the number of shares on offer. That is a distraction – and not a reason to be upset about. We all have the number of shares we own BECAUSE there are 1200mil shares issued.
- Credit raising Yes, it is possible that we will have another CR - maybe $10mil – over the next 12 months. Do not despair. There are CR’s and then there are CR’s. CR’s can be to keep companies operational. CR’s can also be to expand operations, fund research, purchase equipment or build infrastructure – the things that increase the value of a company. Any future CR from MXC will be for the latter. To be frank, these are GOOD CR’s. Equally possible, is that MXC gets enough revenue to fund expansion/building requirements and no CR will be required. My personal opinion is we will likely get one more CR of whatever value and it will be oversubscribed as usual. Then I think the level of revenue will grow – we may even have the situation where MXC has a buy back in the not so distant future.
- Management remuneration Part of life with EVERY company – big or small. MXC management has done a lot of good things over the last 12 months and more. I will not begrudge them getting well paid for their efforts. Plus, we still have no evidence of multiple Ferrari’s in Roby’s garage.
So, we just have to be patient – OK, a bit more patient. By the end of this year, all the issues we currently are concerned with will be just history. At Christmas time 2020 we should all go to the pub where we can be smug and congratulate ourselves on how clever we were to have purchased MXC shares for such a low value and they are now $3 a share – and look around at those other people and ask “how come they didn’t cotton on to this bargain”
