From my own understanding Korea companies are quite shady and difficult to deal with, the country is in the midst of a serious anti corruption divide. It's ranked number one 52nd out of 176 companies in terms of corruption and poor business dealings. I would say that VC are being incredibly difficult. Perhaps they don't like MXC's product and signed to early and are trying to get out of the deal which is unfortunately a binding agreement.
