Which (numbered) sections of your tax return are you showing your profit & losses from your CFDs?
Specificly
Closed out gains
Closed out losses
Interest payments
Commission payments (share CFDs)
DIvidend adjustments (share CFDs)
I've been day trading forex & commodities & I also have long term (leveraged) positions on shares.
There seems to be a difference between being an investor or trader as to whether it's income or capital gain.
I'm doing up to 5 day trades a day at the moment plus I have 2 long term positions, I'm retired & trade/invest for profit purposes.
Thanks in advance.
