Well I read some time ago (and it was also on some disaster movie where New York got flooded) that if global warming occurs to such a point where the ocean warms up a bit (eg; 5, 6 7 degrees) the Gulf Stream (that starts in the Carribean and goes up past New York to the United Kingdom) stops; and when the Gulf Stream stops, you have an instant Ice-Age. How scary is that???
