Well I don't know where those warm currents are coming from either hf, but I do know that our sea water temp should be around 23c today, not 16.5c - that's more like the middle of winter temps - very interesting indeed!
On the other extreme I feel just awful about those terrible fires burning in Victoria atm, not to mention the loss of life also.
