where did qantas go wrong? , page-2

it was by making me discard a pair of shoes and a couple of my shirts because my case was 1.7 kilos overweight years ago, when rushing overseas as a family member was succumbing to cancer.the desk girl was unsympathetic, and made her point about excess baggage succinctly.the flight from perth outwards was 60 percent full.i remembered her attitude ,long after.
and i have flown internationally dozens of times since, and vowed never to go via qantas again-and havent.emirates always first choice, the staff attitude seems to be on a different planet.
just my views, decided to take my own action in this way-how many others have done the same.
will never forget lightening my suitcase in perth airport in front of dozens, while wondering if i would make it home on time before we lost somebody special.we missed by one hour, incidentally.
