Yes, it will have an impact on the remaining prospects within the licence whether positive or negative remains to be seen. The difference in the velocity models would be most likely due to a difference in the lithologies that fill the overlying incisions. There is no such thing as a guarantee in exploration that's why every prospect is assessed probabilisticly. It depends on the individual and its appetite for risk. If you had invested in CVN, PCL and FAR 6 months ago, CVN would have compensated handsomely for your losses on the other 2. That's the game. 1 in 3.
