Hi OOONeither a geo nor oiler but looking over recent presentations, Samo was thought to contain oil in / at the same reservoir levels as SNE to the north. This seemed a reasonable assumption and I punted on this basis. However the drill at Samo 1 showed water at these levels. Samo and SNE now appear not to be connected or related. Assuming there is oil (!!!) in the lease it appears the Samo seal was not intact and the oil may have migrated upwards and to the east, sitting in Bambo. Bambo is higher in the profile and if it has a good seal the oil may be there. If it doesn't have an intact seal the oil may just have dissipated. In the A2 lease we now know there is no oil to the east of Bambo courtesy of Jammah 1 and no oil to the west of Bambo courtesy of Samo 1. FAR's prospect maps show no other prospects in A2 (putting aside Soloo). If there is oil in the lease IMO it may be hiding in Bambo.
