In 2007 or 08 the IT company I worked for hired a Business Analyst called Byron, who told me and another colleague about this diamond company called Lonrho Mining who had scored a promising looking concession in Angola. I checked out some of their preliminary reports about Lulo and decided to jump in. It was literally the first ASX company I've ever invested in, so I massively underestimated how long the project might take to come to fruition. But we have eventually got there all the same
