Mate, regarding the Lulo Kimberlite lease—it's a big deal. One of the main challenges we've faced in accessing various parts of the project has been logistics. Simple things like road access and the seasonal shifts between wet and dry seasons have made bulk sampling in key areas to be extremely difficult. Now, I know some folks might be stuck in a 1950s mindset when it comes to exploration, but I believe we should focus on modern methods like bulk sampling. Looking to the left is a nice start, but as Bungy wisely pointed out, bringing in a qualified geologist and adopting a "let's start fresh" approach could really set us back on the right path, especially given the lack of a solid strategy in the past.
Regarding looking for more projects in Angola, I have a thought: what if we consider selling off 50% of Lulo alluvials and the Lulo Kimberlite to De Beers? They likely have stronger negotiating power with the Angolan government than our Perth HQ does. As for everything else in Angola, I say leave it to the big players.
I'd rather own 1% of something than 100% of nothing.
Anyway another trainwreck week, I'm still optimist that they'll put away the SPP. some forward looking commentary from AK would be nice, like dates for reparation of monies owed to LOM from Angola, followed up by detailed commentary regarding current bulk sampling efforts & alluvial production.
Cheers, LB
