The gold came from somewhere in the earlier prospecting so it is there. I expect these guys got pushed into releasing these early results by ASX. It would be my guess that this first stage was to see how quickly they could start producing gold rather than having to move overburden to get to the lode. They have lucked out on that easy step and will have to move the 3 (or 5 or 10 metres first). The prior owners methodology did not measure where the gold came from so that now needs to be determined. Maybe the gold not being in the top layers means that when they do get down to the gold there will be a higher concentration not diluted by the top 3 or more metres of virtually no gold.
But all guess work and it will be worth the patience to find out. All IMHO. DYOR.
