I am with IInet -not sure if they are national but they are great - all goes through them including phone account. As far as usage - I have not even come close to my limit so quite happy with the whole lot. You're quite correct - we do need all the speed we can get - I am sure those market makers and brokers out there have the best available to them. It's one advantage they have that we can at least compete with.
