I had to do a fair bit of digging to find a few articles on lightspeed to find out about them at all.. I hear what your saying.

As for influencing the board,, I got the impression that they weren't backward in coming fprward when I spoke to Phil Arnel. He said they had been in contact with them from time to time. I told him that lightspeed's business model was to work with 'struggling companies' and wait for them to go bust.. Then make them good and make massive profits.. He told me that they saw the inherent value in Bradken and that's what their model was with them.. To wait out the down cycle.. (Again, my impression)..

In an article I read they invested over a few years with a company before turning a profit, but there is a reason they are a multi billion dollar company..
