It's a very intersting subject Timber and those that say the gold isn't there haven't got huge powers of deduction.
If the gold isn't there, and generations of Garrison Commanders, military personnel and Treasury officials have reported it is there, there's a huge discrepancy.
The door to the depository will be in top notch condition and will be opened and the gold checked on a regular basis, by multiple personnel, because no single person can open the door.
Not only are there multiple layers of security but only the dimmest can possibly imagine that there's been a conspiracy going on for decades and no one's spilt the beans.
But you are correct, the gold's been there since the 1930's but it's only become important to the latest generation of goldbugs.
