our markets are now driven by exploitation, not sanity.
My beleif is the original intention of the stockmarket was if a company wanted to expand, but take on less risk it would sell say half of itself to investors. thus giving itself the funds neccessary to go forward. the investors in turn would determine whether to invest or not in that company based on what they beleive is possible for the company to achieve and increasing the value of the company and their return.

however todays markets are a far cry from the original intention.fundamentals are virtually non existant... a person/fund with big pockets can force a share down, and bring it up, so they can extract a %..nothing to do with the company, any company can be chosen. its really like a game of poker, they will bet big (shorting) to get u scared to sell (or are forced thru margin calls, stoplosses etc) once they have accumulated enough shares up the price goes again.

Governments ,banks and regulaters have a lot to answer for, but the fact they answer to themselves means nothing will change
