Trump doesn't rely on decent content. he cares little whether it is true or not except to the extent that it matches or enables his view of the world or at least his grandiose hopes for himself. His supporters are clearly satisfied with his soundbytes. at least there were sufficient numbers who were not in that class. the supporters are victims of that saying "repeat something often enough and they will believe you"
