There were big short positions built 10 days ago.
There were only 72k gross shorts over last five days.

Total short positions were 4.2m, not really a big number.

I don't know why everyone blamed shorting while stock price falls.
If check top shorted stocks, their share price could still double, like FMG, and JBH.

BHP & RIO, had very little shorts, but share price kept falling.
Shorting positions would be a good indicator ONLY when a stock had a big spike of the shorting positions in a day or few.
