Price being driven down?

Have you considered the alternative, that rational analysts and their associated large investors are choosing to get out? Both JP Morgan and Maple-Brown Abbott are potentially selling down the remainder of their substantial holding. It now also looks likely that Gary Cohen and his family interests are selling down and that possibly OCP have also sold some (though to Cohen family interests).

Though I'd guess MBA will be well out by now and recent sales are possibly a re-opening of shorts that were squeezed out on the 15th, helped along by selling from RJL (Cohen family).

Catching falling-knives is a specialist trading skill - and there are probably many more traders that have retired from attempting it than those who have succeeded in making it work. Feel free to do it, but don't expect everyone else to "try it at home" or fail to comment on the dangers.
