In my younger days I was a Commodities Broker with an Australian firm. I was working the markets during the period that silver went from $5 to $50oz and then back to $5 again. It may have changed but then it was 'balls to the wall' high risk trading. It is not for the faint-hearted. If you're a first-timer get with a reputable broker and make sure you're getting calm, careful advice from them. Avoid anyone who wants you to to trade continuously (which is called 'churn and burn'). Tread lightly and carefully and always have a stop-loss in place.
