The recent selling in the ASX is due to funds members of investment and superannuation funds panic withdrawals and switches to safer options. Equities in Consumer staples should be less affected by the selling pressure unless the priced for growth can be affected or EPS may drop.
Expect further selling from Funds but the SP will eventually rise back to realistic PE according to Earnings reports and growth forecasts.
Food sales and prices have risen recently and will lead to revenue growth for TGR.
