I think CER is going up for a different reason. I put a posting on the CER forum earlier: Orbis appear to have stopped buying in any large volume and without a big broker in the market (supported by a bot) trying to get shares dirt cheap, CER is starting to find a more natural market price. The number of CER shares in the market available for trade has also decreased due to the number of large holders - i.e. there is less stock around. There has been some renewed interest in the past few weeks with analysts writing more positively about the stock.
CNP is interesting today in that by my calculations, 5.33m shares (0.64% of the company) have changed hands at 25c and the 25c line just keeps getting refilled. On this volume, you'd have to question why the seller (assuming it is one person and not many) wouldn't let it run a point or two and then start selling. I gave up a long while ago trying to explain this kind of market behaviour!
