If you consider that Texas Pacific Group was involved for 12 months trying to takeover Coles and eventually lost out to Wesfarmers; then the time factor is really insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

If someone really wants CNP then they will be patient and strike at exactly the right time. Perhaps the time will be just as CNP seems to have fixed themselves up. Come in at the right time and all the hard work over months and months has already been done... in the meantime the share price has been held low just waiting for the opportune moment. We've all been saying for months on end that games appear being played. Sooner or later it will come out. I hold for long term.
