The chinese have many yank dollars they need to reduce their holdings of. That will take time to do as discretely as poss without alarming the markets. Heat the water slowly, let the frog relax and stay settled.

They are starting to buy into gold producers. They also want gold. They will not want the pog to go too high too fast, til they're done with accumulating, a while yet I reckon.

They are in no hurry to screw the US yet. They are patient, and understand it will happen in its own time.

When it does, they will want to be holding as much hard asset as feasibly possible.
I believe the US$ crash will not be allowed to happen until then. And it will be a planned assault.
