My only buy (unfortunately) was in 2015. I have held all the way through.

I had several opportunities to up my stake including doubling down shortly after I bought at a similar price. I didn't due to a combination of my tendency to pinch pennies on my orders and the fact that it has looked very expensive since. Of course, their subsequent delivery has been great and the multiple has kept expanding to reflect that.

I was convinced enough that the valuation had got ahead of itself when I sold my initial stake in Feb last year at around $18 after the HY result. Needless to say, that was a big mistake. Even so, ALU makes up about 18% of my ASX portfolio, so I still have a large interest in it
