ARU is one of the reasons i hold ADY. The rising REE prices along with higher long term Ni prices make NiMH batteries a little pricey. With every Prius currently using NiMH batteries and the prices heading higher still, Toyota have formed a partnership with Panasonic (i think) to develop Li based batteries. Further the growth in news stories about Li ion battery manufacturing facilities being built, 2008 looks like it will be the year for Li. The tesla roadster starts being delivered this year and GM are still promising the Volt for 2010. Add to this the potassium for NPK manufacture and ADY have got some great assets. I wouldn't say that ADY are a doer, but they're not a gunna, they're more like a kinda. Their pilot plant is a bit a of a roundabout way of getting to the desired point.
I still think ARU has a brighter future, but sometimes you need some diversification.
