where is god (or allah) when you need him

ok - watso only rarely looks at this part of the hc world. watso was raised in a strongly religious household, but after a lot of soul searching, and reading and going to church - watso came to the conclusion that Christian religion in which he was raised, was just a waste of time - and it was really a waste of time to search for another religion.

religion is pretty easy to understand - watso's parents were religious, and watso blindly followed in their footsteps - until he questioned the matter.

in syria these days, there seems to be muslims fighting muslims, who are fighting muslims, who are killing and beheading muslims - and all the time reveling in screaming out the arabic version of "god is great".

damn it all, but the god of the muslims is the same as the god of the Christians, who is the same god as the jews - ie the Abrahamic religions .... never tell watso that the god upstairs is sitting down watching the muslims fight the christians, or jews - but then there was the problem of the protestants fighting the catholics in the christian religion - and then the shia fighting the sunni in the muslim religion.

the stark reality is, that there is no god - and that is why everybody is fighting everybody - there is no god who is coming down and saying "stop this rubbish" - or if there is a god, then he just loves everybody fighting over him .... mmmmm not much of a god
