many thanks Smugtown (like that name) for clarifying the 40 hour rule.

I used to charge my wife for managing her portfolio. I suppose I could do that again. In the past I justified my charge when she made over 20000$ profit in a year. Now...she has not done that for some time, and so I do it for free.
Perhaps I could charge her anyway.....despite her poor performance.....and chalk it up as 40+ hours.????...which , when I do all her research on stocks (for naught up to now....but maybe FAR will change that)....certainly adds up to far more than 40 hours.
