Hi Sisu123If your main problem with MGT is because it is years from production, then most people here will not need your advice. I believe the majority of people are here because they want to invest in the next substantial miner and producer. If MGT doesn’t fit your risk appetite, then by all means move onto FMG BHP RIO. Others can see the longer-term plan and as the years and stages come this investment is becomes more de-risked.
The current producers you’ve named are very different to the companies to MGT. Yes, they are currently mining I will give you that. However, they will never be of the magnitude based on fundamentals of resource and infrastructure to what MGT could possibly be if they get to full production.
You have missed out the biggest factor of the current macro and that is simply supply of IO plus the transition to Higher Grade. It is a known fact that the supply is not meeting demand, I accept that the demand at the moment is at an all-time high causing a bottle neck. Projects from 2020 that were postpone now being turned on plus the added boost of infrastructure spending in 2021/2022/2023 all being put through at the same time causing huge demand. But what has really caused this is the under investment of new mines of substantial size. Miners that you have listed will not have a serious impact on the supply side.
Your comment “in 3 years the macro will be toasted” I find wild. I do not think IO prices will be at record highs after this bottle neck subsides but there is small to minimum chances the macro is going to be “toasted”. The possibility of it being strong and booming in High grade mined using renewable energy with the ability to produce steel 300km away is highly likely. Also the huge investment into E.S.G and green steel component let’s not forget that.
Now I see your trying to be-little people, calling them beginners, uneducated, dumb money. People who put people down like what you’re doing are usually coming from a place of hurt and anguish. So, I must ask ARE YOU OK? Are you trying to give financial advice which at least you should know is a big no no, or are you trying to make yourself feel better by put others down? This forum is one of the better forums on hotcopper however you have come in very hot handed all for what? Advice, to help others.
