Okay, well the short sells on cnp as at 7/8/08 were 5.7 mill which is down. I would say this week the shorters will have to cover these although 5.7 mill can be less than a days trade. I would say with contracts being announced either 14 or 15 Aug then the shorts better be covered by Wed at the latest.

Todays volume is exceedingly low but day is not over yet. Perhaps the Olympics are having some effect on this but they go for another week yet.
