For one the deal has to be approved by 2 gov. Second the deal includes shares you receive from the buyer plus the cash to equal $48. At the current exchange rate its probably close. To get the full benifit you have to wait till the deal is closed or try making money trading on it as the deal may take time maybe long time so the price changes till its absolute. For them to make the announcement they must have most approvals in place. You"ll know when they want you to sign something, by mail.
Don't forget the tax saving holding things for a year or more. Can be more money than nickle and diming it.
