Broker data are one indicator for whom have been buying and selling, might help to understand whom were involving.
Basically three categories:
- Retail,
mainly via Comsec, E*Trade, Australian Investment, CMC, Openmarkets, Third Party, Wealthub, etc.
- Sophisticated Investors
mainly via Patersons, Pershing, etc
- Institutions
mainly institutional brokers, UBS, Morgan Stanley, Merill Lynch, etc
