Just wondering if anybody received the refund/excess money for SPP? Or for that matter a new share allocation statement? As we all know, APZ only allocated 5% above the entitlement to eligible shareholders, and the refund cheques for those who asked for more were supposed to be mailed out last Tuesday the 23d. I understand the mail is coming from Perth, but surely 5 business days should be plenty?
Incidentally, I am amazed & disappointed at why would a decent company give excess shares to underwriters instead of shareholders? In my experience, most SPP I participated in only allocated the unclaimed shares (if any) to the underwriters. There is something just too fishy about this IMO - I am sure there are some theories out there from well informed HC posters. Will be much obliged to hear.
