I have an existing order which I need to re-consider in light of the pending announcement. Am I supposed to sit glued to the screen all day? Comsec simultaneously displays Trading Halt and Pre-Open, Indicative price 5.6c.

And what is with the 1m shares at 5.6c without the announcement release. Is that real or will it disappear?

What is so hard about making an announcement. It seems to me that normally when they call a trading halt they should make the announcement immediately after the halt.
