Hi Lemas ... from another trans Tasman Kiwi-born Aussie raised (almost) & now exiled back in NZ ... sorry to be pedantic but my Maori rellies would be v upset if i didn't point out that it's actually spelt "kia ora" and translates as hello !; thanks !; may you have health !
And (as well as being a greeting) kia ora is often used to voice support, appreciation or agreement ... a bit like "hear hear", "bravo" or "good onya cuz".
