re: gurubob: where is the best place to retire in I have lived in South West Rocks (between Coffs and Port Macquarie) for 7 years.

I would advise against moving here. The climate is too temperate and the people overly friendly. The fish crowd the waters and the living too easy.

Seriously, the population has doubled since we moved here and the beaches even start to get a little crowded at Xmas. I hope they don't ruin it like Byron.
