FWIW here's my thoughts. I think we've got a way down to go yet. Daily swings will be volatile but the general trend will still be down. Last night our PM asked all Aussies to return to Oz. Reading between the lines... we are going to close our borders soon. Next step... close down domestic air travel. The government are spacing these measures out to 'flatten the curve' and not overwhelm hospitals. Australia and NZ have gnerally been on the same page with travel bans etc so I would expect NZ to do the same. I'm surprised the virus hasn't spread much in NZ but it's seemingly inevitable whilst the borders are still open. Looking at historical charts AIA can fall hard. This situation is by far the worst ever scenario for the entire travel/tourism industry. I'm in no hurry to buy back in, maybe when domestic flights are stopped investor sentiment will bottom. I might look to top up around that time
