The best strategy is too sell a % of your stock if you are lucky enough to strike a winner. That way you carry the rest for free and never worry about price fluctuations. I did this many years ago, sold a % when SP was $20, after buying for $2.30. Just kept the remainder, never considered selling even after GFC when it was $1.95. Got up to $35 before pandemic, fell to $20, is now back to $42.

I always just told myselfI cannot lose money so don't sell, paid off in that case, other times it can be less successful, but bottom line is no losses are incurred, just less profit if worse comes to worse.

Those opportunities happen rarely, I would not employ the strategy till it was at least a 5 bagger. I am sure some here have a 30 bagger, lucky them
