Fear is the dominant feature of the current market. When this happens, investors always liquidate the smaller, riskier stocks first and the bluechips with solid earnings last.
As NMS is small by comparison and has little earnings transparency moving forward, people obviously see the risk/reward as not being worth holding and hence are willing to sell at a loss.
It's not a rational market at the moment and anything is possible, remembering GFCI will be fresh on most investor's memory.
