We are in a state of political instability right now. This usually occurs when the yanks are itching to oust the existing president with the opposing party candidate. Once the air of change is here (not that Obama will change much) we should see some sanity return. Fundamentals will dictate the market, not fear.
BHP is a market gem, not a market darling, and anyone with half a brain should be accumulating BHP while they are still at these low prices. Forget the little ones, big is beautiful. Remember, commodities might be falling, but our resource exports to China will only arouse their appetite even more, given the effect our weak dollar has on the price of our exports.
Lastly, TA is all very well, but I think this can go out the window given the high quality of BHP stock. $8 for BHP.....I'll wager anyone that this won't happen!
